Laura Ingraham hosted Bonnie Swanson of the National Defense University on women in combat.
Swanson said that in general women in combat is a positive move, given that there will be a few areas to monitor. Swanson has had 11 years in the military. She doesn't think standards should be lowered. She said there will be medical issues that we won't know about yet and agreed with Ingraham that physical standards shouldn't be lowered and that women's bodies are different than men. Swanson said that she's not surprised that young enlistees may not want to go into combat. She thinks the option should be given to women.
