President Obama held a rare press converence to end his first term on January 14, 2013, beginning with an opening statement touting his efforts on deficit reduction, reiterating that more revenue and cuts are needed. Obama cited his election results and polls that he feels abut his view.
Obama slammed Republicans for being against raising the debt ceiling which he himself voted against as a senator.
