Laura Ingraham sub host Raymond Arroyo talked with Representative Paul Ryan of Wisconsin.
Ryan said no is suggesting that those who paid into the system are takers, but is concerned about a dependency ethos growing in the country. He is most concerned about the entitlement programs going broke and that the GOP is hoping to save the programs. He noted that the cost of health care, the aging population guarantee that these programs will go under and that we will have a debt crisis.
Ryan and Arroyo taht most inaugural speeches are concilatory and are used to bring people together, but that Obama's speech was ideological and partisan, despite its brevity. Arroyo pointed out the defiant tone to the speech. Ryan said Obama appears not to be interested in reforming entitlements.
Ryan said the GOP is tired of the government on auto pilot without passing a budget in four years with the Senate offering criticism of the House which has passed budgets.
Paul commented on the "Organizing for Action" 501C group that the Obama team has put together to unseat GOP House members so he has control over all three branches of government.
