Laura Ingraham hosted Byron York of the Washington Examiner.
York said Boehner isn't in substantive danger as the GOP isn't united with an alternative. Ingraham said he voted for the fiscal cliff, but was clearly not happy about it. She remarked that the country actually is off the fiscal cliff over the debt ceilng. York said the GOP will have a tough fight trying to get deficit reductions. Ingraham pointed out that Obama has stated that he won't accept any negotiations on the fiscal cliff. Ingraham said the Congress is like addicts that can't give up their habits. York noted that the ratio of cuts to taxes is 40 to 1. Ingraham said the liberals were upset over Obama raising the tax level for the wealthy. Both commented on the pork stuffed into the law. York said that the left needs maximum tax revenues to pay for Obamacare.
