Roker said he always flags down presidents during the inauguration.
Roker advised people not to think about a weight regimen as a diet, but as a lifestyle change that will be fought every day. He said the gastric bypass worked for him, but wouldn't recommend it for others as it is dangerous and can be eaten through. He's been thinner for five years, but has had some slip ups. He's learned how to get back to his routine. He has a standing treadmill desk.
Roker advises people not to tell friends or relatives that they are fat.
