Laura Ingraham hosted Pat Buchanan.

Buchanan agreed with Ingraham that Mitt Romney's foreign policy speech at VMI opened himself up to turning off a war weary electorate as the nation is in debt.  Ingraham said one should have the consent of the governed before involving the US in conflicts abroad.  Buchnana thinks Romney is getting pushed by the neocons to get involved in conflicts where we have no vital interest and that could install even more dangerous leaders.  He pointed to Reagan getting involved in Lebanon where hundreds of Marines were killed and that he learned not to get involved in needless foreign policy adventures.  Ingraham said that the people should be asked if they would be willing to pay a war tax for future wars.  Both Ingraham and Buchanan agreed that they agree with a strong muscular United States with restraint and that the last two wars are unpopular.  Buchanan asked how China has been hurt by not getting involved in the internal affairs of other countries and Ingraham said they use back channels.
