Laura Ingraham hosted Dr. Frank Newport of the Gallup Poll.
Newport said his polls don't make electoral predictions but do rolling daily polls nationally. He said that if Romney or Obama is ahead nationally on November 5th, they are very apt to win the election. He said they are always updating their methodology and started a separate track. They are also sampling more cellphones with 50% for cellphones and landlines. He believes in the collective wisdom of the people. They rely on the census to get accurate samplings.
