Forbes said Americans are reluctant to fire presidents and that Romney hasn't provided a compelling case for voting for him over Obama. Ingraham said in contrast Reagan out forth a clear cut conservative message domestically and on foreign policy and didn't just demonize his opponents. Forbes cited his own book that champions free markets as the best moral choice. He said that Romney still has time at the debates to make his case. Ingraham said the Obama team has already framed Romney and the Republicans have been back on their heels and Forbes agreed that Romney is responding rather than charging.
Forbes and Ingraham criticized the downgrading of the GDP which is worse due to the taxmageddon the nation is facing. Ingraham said Romney is sending mixed messages on taxes. Forbes said he should emphasize tax cuts across the boards. He called it the new abnormal with all sorts of bad economic indicators.
