President Obama Acceptance Speeches: 2008: "I'm the hope you're looking for": 2012: "You're the hope I'm looking for"

President Obama's acceptance speech at the 2012 DNC convention was emotional, defiant but remarkably devoid of new policies for the future. While he was the vessel of hope and change in 2008, in 2012 he seemed to be turning to the American people for hope - to get him back in office, basically.
