Laura Ingraham hosted Newt Gingrich.
Gingrich said Obama has hurt Americans with high debt, high gas prices, weakened defense and foreign policy. He said Obama is vulnerable and that the GOP doesn't take him on at every turn on these issues. Gingrich cited a number of troubling data points on the economy which Obama hasn't dealt with effectively. Gingrich noted that his energy independence plan would be a good model to follow.
Gingrich recommended a contrast with economic strength, strong defense versus a weakened economy and foreign policy. Both he and Ingraham said Romney hasn't capitalized on the Benghazi attacks to hold the administration accountable.
Gingrich said the news media will promote the meme that the down ballot will be affected by Romney's issues and said the GOP party is strong and that Todd Akin is actually getting ahead in Missouri. He thinks there's a good chance of Senate pickups.

"We do offer Golden Zumba and that's been a hit," she said. Zumba has been attracting as many as 60 participants.
