Steele said there was lots of happy face and glitz at the Democratic convention, but that no new policies with supportive details were offered. Ingraham and Steele commented on the number of people who aren't employed or under employed and the low percentage of the American public that is employed. He cited the Republican governors who are turning their states around. He said the Democrats were not able to answer the question "Are you better off today than you were?" Steele and Ingraham spoke about how the economy has stagnated with anemic job creation. Steele noted the number of topics that weren't addressed by the Democrats.
Steele praised Michelle Obama's speech while Ingraham said it was a retread of all the personal data that the public has heard again and again.
