Ingraham and Cost discussed the plethora of economic data that is being manipulated. He said Obama gets leeway from the voters in the middle due to the mess he was left, but that they are very disappointed. He said the polls have generally been accurate, but were wide of the mark in 2000 and 2004. He said the more one looks at polls through history, especially in September. He said it is far more preferable to be ahead in September. Ingraham said Pew and Rasmussen are the most accurate and that there are deficits in such places in Florida. She said that while polls aren't perfect, but that they shouldn't be blown off. Cost said he's not dismissing the polls but that they aren't always predictive. He thinks Obama has a three point lead nationally.
