Laura Ingraham hosted Lanny Davis.
Davis said Obama's speech was given for the liberal base to emphasize that government has a significant role in American life. He said Obama stated this is a choice election.
Davis said he wished Obama had made a statement about how deep the recession was when he took office and that he'd need more time. He said Joe Biden spoke to the base as well to get their enthusiausm and turnout up.
