Charles Kessler, author of "I Am The Change" with Laura Ingraham

Laura Ingraham hosted Charles Kessler, author of "I Am The Change".

Kessler said liberalism is running out of money and ideas as they are running out of people to pay for their programs.  He points to Obama's overt plays for redistribution of wealth.  Kessler distinguished between welfare and redistribution which is taking from Peter and giving to Paul which emanates from the 1960's liberalism.  Kessler said he has 60's envy which came from his mother's influence.  He said many young people get degrees but don't know much.  Ingraham said they don't know what it's like when America is in decline.  

Kessler said that instead of teaching history, schools teach a little about a lot of things without any sense of priority and importance.  Ingraham and Kessler said that Obama doesn't care if America is exceptional and this puts him to the left of Jimmy Carter.  

Kessler said conservatives and Republicans have a heavy burden because the education establishment is overwhelmingly liberal.  His book is dedicated to reversing this.  Kessler noted that Obama is an excellent politician and if elected will be in the liberal pantheon.  Kessler said the economy is glacially improving and Obama will use this as he connects with sympathy rather than inspiration and reality.
