Laura Ingraham hosted Speaker of the House John Boehner.
Boehner said he's just a regular guy with a big job. He thought Chris Christie did a great job in his keynote speech. He said Ann Romney did a great job helping Mitt Romney reintroduce himself. He noted that after Paul Ryan and Romney speak, the team will be on their way. He spoke about possibly shortening the convention as they are costly and in most cases are uncontested. He said the Ron Paul contingent has been reached out to and represented so doesn't think their complaints are warranted.
Boehner said Paul Ryan is one of the leaders of the GOP's pro-growth agenda. Boehner said slurs on minority GOP candidates are wrong and that the GOP on job creation which affects people in all groups. He said the GOP wants everyone to get out and vote. He said Obama has been non-stop campaigning even during the emergency with Hurricane Isaac.
