Laura Ingraham hosted Richard Miniter, author of "Leading from Behind".
Miniter said there were three times that the bin Laden raid was called off before the actual raid because the White House got cold feet, specifically Valerie Jarrett, a mentor to both Barack and Michelle Obama, making her very powerful. Jarrett was born in Iran and is part of the black aristocracy and spent lots of time overseas. She and the Obamas think the US is one of other countries and feels Americans are provincial.Miniter said Jarrett felt that if the bin Laden raid didn't work, there would be huge faout.
Miniter said the White House is spinning and denying cryptically Miniter's accounts. Both Ingraham and Miniter believe that all presidents make decisions with politics in mind. The Obama administration regards this as the signature decision of his presidency and thus want to preserve it.
