Paul Ryan delivered a rousing convention speech on Wednesday night punctuated by over 60 standing ovations. He began with his biography, giving tribute to his mother Betty as his role model. He pivoted to a stinging rebuttal of President Obama and his policies, especially Obama's self-critique that he needed to tell a story to which Ryan responded by saying the nation had heard enough words and needed leadership.
No doubt Chicago was taking note of an orator who challenges Obama's oratory and will have their liens of rebuttal, specifically calling out Ryan on his votes for spending on TARP, the pwars, the auto bailout and asking for stimulus as well as attacking him on social issues.
