Laura Ingraham hosted Representative Todd Akin, Senate candidate from Missouri.
Akin said that the St. Louis Post's article trying to connect him to a radical right wing group. He wrote them a letter in the 1990s telling them to focus on disaster relief. He went on to describe his opponent Senator Claire McKaskill was an early and constant supporter of President Obama. He said both are stealing our freedom via the health care law, shutting down businesses via their policies, etc..
Akin said Missouri has been a bellwether state due to its demographic representation of the nation. He said the state is getting more conservative.
Askin said it is a distinct possibility that the GOP will take the Senate, based on the enthusiasm in his state.
Akin's background is in engineering and also has a divinity degree. He worked in a variety of businesses. He is interested in the nexus between faith and our founders vision.
