Laura Ingraham hosted Jennifer Rubin of the Washington Post.
Rubin said Ann Romney was compelling and lovely and said her lightness conveyed that politics can be joyful. She contrasted with Chris Christie as two bookends that worked well.
Rubin said the party is unified, despite the mainstream media's false dramas. She said the media's attacks also draw the GOP together.
Rubin said she loves Chris Christie's contrariness. Ingraham commented on Christie projecting strength. Rubin praised his contrasts with the Democrats and said the hall was very enthused.
Rubin commented on Senator Portman getting harassed by the press as well as Governor Scott Walker and that they are oblivious to their bias.
