Laura Ingraham hosted Jamie De Wolfe, great-grandson of L. Ron Hubbard, founder of Scientology.
De Wolfe said his grandfather was in hiding when he was young. He said the church went after him as soon as he spoke out about the church. Other ex members have reached out to him with their stories. He went to Clearwater, Florida, where the Church of Scientology which they bought up in the 1970's. Now the city is like a Scientology theme park. He has never been a Scientologist. His mother's name was Hubbard.
De Wolfe said Tom Cruise is the most powerful member who is best friends of the CEO of Scientology. He contends that Katie Holmes was probably driven out of the faith OSA, their own cops and surveillance force. He said they are terrified of their secrets being revealed.
De Wolfe said the entire focus is on self-betterment which appeals to people in the beginning. He said people audit to get from level to level forever. He said much of it is very derivative from other belief systems. He said they want to replace psychiatry. He doubts that Tom Cruise would want to leave because their electronic confessions are recorded.
