Laura Ingraham guest host Raymond Arroyo interviewed Bill Kristol of the Weekly Standard.
Kristol said the GOP should go on offense against the attacks on Paul Ryan. He said messaging should be truthful as they explain Ryan's Medicare proposal. He said the debate should be on the future voters want. Arroyo said the ads Ryan has run in his own congressional district are very persuasive which has caused him to succeed in a swing district. Kristol said Ryan should be deployed in Florida and other areas where there are many seniors. He feels Ryan should run the kind of campaign he is best at. Arroyo agreed that Ryan should be used as much as possible as he has a great political presence.
Kristol said Ryan knows quite a bit about foreign policy and has visited the Middle East and has had briefings with top foreign policy minds who were impressed with him.
Kristol agreed with Arroyo that there is some fear among the Democrats with Ryan as he is an attractive candidate with good political skills.
