Ortiz is a former Miss Wheelchair New York. She said the Section 9009 of the Affordable Care Act will be unaffordable to buy and make for persons with disabilities. Ortiz said there are people on a fixed income and on Medicare, the government tells the patient what they can and cannot get - as a form of rationing. She said this will make life less accessible for persons with disabilities. She said the Democrats have sold persons with disabilities a bill fo goods as they have many other groups. She said she's a pariah to persons with disabilities because she's come out against the ACA. She said the Republicans need to send out messages that they care about people and aren't into the bottom line. She said people with disabilities need to make their case.
