Laura Ingraham hosted New York Senate candidate Wendy Long.
Long said many people in New York want to have Ingraham back to visit. Long said she was hoping for an endorsement from the New York Post and was pleased to get it. Ingraham and Long discussed why it is important for the GOP to compete in liberal states. Long said her Democratic opponent Senator Gilibrand is the most liberal senator. Long said that her primary opponent doesn't have big name ID in the state. Long said New York is a blue state but that the popularity of other Democrats don't translate to her. Long said that she has heard from so many women about how they and their children can't get jobs.
Ingraham and Long urged people to go to Long's site wendylongfornewyork.com to donate. Long said immigration is a big issue everywhere and while the details are different in a northern state, everyone is concerned.
