Laura Ingraham hosted "The O'Reilly Factor" on June 8th. The "Talking Points Memo" was about President Obama's short press conference with his selective presenation of facts and later having to clarify his claim that the private sector is just fine and scolding the Congress as he has done as he's barnstormed the country. She discussed the memo with Democrat Steve Murphy and Republican Michelle Fields.
Ingraham spoke to Lanny Davis about President Clinton sabotaging of President Obama's messaging. Davis said the debate among the Democrats is about tactics, not ideology and that Clinton was looking at timing while Ingraham said Clinton knows what he's talking about as he is smart politically. She also cited Mark Halperin's piece saying President Obama could lose in November and that Obama is imperiling the party.
Ingraham talked to Janine Turner and Jeanne Wolf about President Obama as celebrity hound. Wolf said the stars are more concerned about self-promotion. Turner said Obama goes to Hollywood for cash and that their influence isn't that critical. Wolf said he is also going after the youth vote and enjoys having fun. Ingraham said it looks immature and frivolous.
Ingraham discussed Democrats angst over the possibility that President Obama could lose with Geraldo Rivera. He said there were two parts to the Wisconsin recall with unions taking a big blow and said the polls are evening out for Romney and Obama. He said liberal enthusiasm is rebuilding for Obama but isn't quite there for Romney, though it is growing. They discussed claims that the Miss USA pageant is rigged and Donald Trump is suing Miss Pennsylvania who refused to compete with a transgender entrant.
Ingraham spoke to Nancy Sodermayer about the national security leaks from the Obama administration. She said it has been a record of success and that it is difficult to know where leaks come from. Ingraham constrasted the media coverage of the Valerie Plame case versus this case. Sodermayer said it will be investigated thoroughly and that the administration is doing a great job while Ingrhaam contends this is harmful to the nation.
Ingraham talked to Catherine Hetteridge about the Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hassan and noted the multiple ways the ball was dropped which resulted in needless deaths due to political correctness.
