Laura Ingraham hosted Jonah Goldberg, author of "Tyranny of Cliches".
Goldberg agreed with Ingraham that the State Department has been naive, incompetent or deceitful on the Chen Guangcheng situation and thought he could be released and then his helpers clamped down on. Goldberg said the Chinese are our loan sharks and agreed with that it limits our leverage on the world stage. He compared Obama to REagan and said that Reagan didn't compromise his values.
Goldberg said the left talks about social justice but never define what it is. He said it is an anti-capitalist meme by saying the state can guarantee social justice. Ingraham noted that many young people are taken in by these cliches.
