The "Ingraham Angle" with Laura Ingraham focused on Mitt Romney's latest gaffe in which he appeared to not be concerned about the very poor.
Ingraham and O'Reilly both agreed that Romney's remarks were not artful and that his meaning was taken out of context. They both noted that he is a problem solver and CEO type who is data driven and doesn't couch his comments in a political manner.
Ingraham said that while Romney has some conservative policies, he hasn't been steeped in the conservative philosophy and suggested that he go back and read some of Reagan's treatises on conservatism.
O'Reilly and Ingraham discussed O'Reilly's "Talking Points Memo" in which he enumerated the causes of poverty and how trillions have been spent on the war on poverty with only a four percent reduction in the US poverty rate. The causes included addiction, poor education, bad behavior with much of this out of the reach of government.
