Obama's Kansas speech: some suspect facts
President Barack Obama called for a renewal of the "New Nationalism" at the core of the Progressive agenda outlined by former president Theodore Roosevelt in 1910. Obama, like Roosevelt, gave the speech in the small town of Osawatomie, Kansas. This is the first half of the president's hour-long speech.
