The "Ingraham Angle" with Laura Ingraham on "The O'Reilly Factor" focused on the charge that former eBay CEO and current GOP candidate for California's governor Meg Whitman had an illegal alien in her employment for nine years before letting her go after finding out she was an illegal alien. Whitman has contended that the young woman who was their housekeeper was an integral part of the family and is being used by the Democrats in a naked political ploy. The housekeeper is suing Whitman for back wages after earning $23 an hour as a housekeeper.
Ingraham agreed with the Whitman position, noting that Whitman used an accredited agency to hire the housekeeper where the woman should have been vetted. Whitman also said that she and her husband never saw communications sent to her from Social Security questioning the housekeeper's status. The housekeeper confessed that she had used a relative's SS number to be hired. Ingraham said this all seemed fishy and that Gloria Allred is a left leaning, ambulance chasing lawyer who has never shunned the limelight. Both she and O'Reilly noted that the housekeeper was tearfully reading her statement, indicating that she was being coached and that her sentiments appeared to be not entirely from the heart.
