Laura Ingraham hosted Katherine Kersten on a University of Minnesota plan to indoctrinate state teachers into hating America.

Kersten said that future teachers are being asked to write a critique of the US, the myth of meritocracy, the history of racism, and shooting down American exceptionalism.  She said this goes beyond political correctness and that the university is also taking into account that people have to have the proper indoctrination and leftist attitudes to be in the teachers' program.  It is being snuck into the program under the auspice of "cultural competence". 

Kersten said the dean has completely defended this proposed program change.  Kersten said the forcing of ideological dogma is the point - not the discussion of issues of race, gender and ethnicity.

This is a program that exists at many different universities across the country.
