Laura Ingraham hosted Steve Forbes on his new book How Capitalism Will Save Us: Why Free People and Free Markets Are the Best Answer in Today's Economy.
Forbes said we will be having health commissars in the US to control our health care. He thinks that if something unacceptable is rammed through that people don't like, those behind the bill will be run out of office. Forbes said that the GOP should emphasize the human element in health care and how research will be held back without innovation.
Forbes said there has been a war on capitalism and that it is capitalism will be what saves us - and that it has been government to cause these financial crises have been caused by government by printing too much money - with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac at the center of it all. He fears that this same sort of thinking will be applied to health care and derail our system.
