Laura Ingraham hosted Sharyl Attkisson, investigative correspondent in CBS News' Washington bureau, on how the CDC's needless secrecy endangers Americans.
Attkisson said she started getting tips from CDC and interns about a halt in counts and she filed a FOIA request to get the information on the spread of the swine flu in the states. She said most of the cases weren't flu at all and the epidemic isn't as widespread as thought. She said people were diagnosed without an official test and that we stopped testing at the end of July. She said she got a letter from the CDC saying this wasn't an issue of public interest, shockingly.
