Laura Ingraham hosted Douglas Brinkley, author of the new book The Wilderness Warrior: Theodore Roosevelt and the Crusade for America.
Ingraham asked why there hasn't been a great movie on Roosevelt. Brinkley said it begs to be made as he squeezed the most out of every day loaded with political and personal achievements. Brinkley said his parents had a huge influence on the young Roosevelt and emphasized education and self-improvement. Brinkley said he was very brave and had a strong moral core. He was the classic Americanist.
Brinkley said he was the ultimate public servant and went after corruption wherever he found it. He was also a strong proponent of the Navy.
