Laura Ingraham hosted Michael Van Gorkom, former Yahoo! employee, on why he's "funemployed" and loving it.
Van Gorkom said he was laid off several months ago, despite feeling safe - along with 600 others, including his boss. He said at first he was stressed out and then he got some opportunities came his way and that he may not be in such a bad place and that he decided to take advantage of the time off with his severance and with some savings cushion. He is single and doesn't have a mortgage. He said he's looking into other opportunities and is looking to lower his stress level - and that this may be the last time he will have the opportunity to chill out. He said he's on the beach and working on his golf game.
