Laura Ingraham hosted Michael C. Moynihan, senior editor at Reason Magazine, on the continuation of Obama's overseas apology tour.
He said it has been a very short honeymoon period for Obama and that middle America isn't seeing any benefits for them for all the spending. He also noted that his overseas achievements, for example, with the Russians have been minimal. Ingraham said that conservatives warned that President Obama is a complete liberal, but people went ahead and voted for him as a change. He noted that Obama would never have passed welfare reform as Clinton did. He said that while people were critical, rightfully, of President Bush's spending, but that President Obama is outdoing him multi-fold - for example in areas of education where spending has ramped way up. No one is paying attention as discretionary spending is moved over to entitlement spending. He said the Obama administration has complete confidence in massive government.
