Laura Ingraham hosted Mark Steyn.
Ingraham noted that there are many openings to probe Judge Sotomayor and Steyn said that even if the results appear to be headed toward confirmation, it is an opportunity to educate the public about what justice should be, not a Hollywood version of what the judicial process should be.
Ingraham pointed out that the same emphasis on personal hardships didn't apply to Justice Thomas who had one of the most trying backgrounds and Steyn said that people like Barack Obama and Sonia Sotomayor fit the liberal template of how minorities should think, despite the fact that their backgrounds were less trying.
Ingraham asked Steyn about Rep. Rangel's ideas about raising taxes on the wealthy to bankroll Barack Obama's health care proposals and Steyn said that we'll be paying more for fewer choices and that Americans bodies will be nationalized as in the UK or Canada - and it is a horror story.
