Laura Ingraham hosted Bill O'Reilly on accusations that he--and others in the non left-wing media--are culpable for George Tiller's murder.
O'Reilly said that it is absurd to lay on him the blame for George Tiller's murder. He said that all of us are responsible for this situation coming to a head. Ingraham said that it is ironic that the US marshals are being sent to abortion clinics to protect them while the murder of a soldier didn't get the same attention.
O'Reilly said that the murder of Tiller is horrible, but to make Tiller out to be a hero is also not correct as most people are against the late term abortion practices. O'Reilly said that any clinic that gets threats should be protected. However, he siad the dishonesty of the mainstream media is wrong. O'Reilly said that Tiller killed 16,000 fetuses and potential citizens and make millions doing this. O'Reilly said that President Obama is into the presidency for himself and that he is pragmatic for himself and his self interests. Thus he doesn't think Obama will go after talk radio and that he already has most of the media in his pocket. O'Reilly said he is a left-winger at heart, but like Clinton, he thinks of himself first over ideology.
O'Reilly "Talking Points Memo" on George Tiller's Death on June 1st

He ignores that one of the reasons why there aren't very many doctors that perform the procedure is because of the threat of violence. I think O' Reilly can say what ever he wants. However, he ignores that he is an inflammatory figure, that some of the people who are drawn to his program are maybe a little extremist. It is irresponsible for him to not acknowledge that. Though he does make a somewhat legit point, the press really hasn't talked about the anti-abortion position from truly (i.e. non-nutjob extremist) pro-life people. Although I think this story does a good job of being balanced: http://www.newsy.com/videos/the_killing_of_george_tiller
