Laura Ingraham hosted Ted Dekker on his unusual upbringing among Indonesian cannibals and his latest book The Boneman's Daughter.
Dekker said his parents were missionaries in Indonesia and said their friends were killed and eaten by cannibals. He said his unusual background made him become an acute observer. He said his daughter was taken by a boneman - and he was able to see this man was dangerous - and he couldn't stop his daughter from going to live with him, even as he begged her to not do so. He said that this was a way to make the loss of a child palpable to other parents who have lost children. He said he has a book "Tea With Hezbollah" comes out next year. He noted that when daughters are killed in war, other countries see us as bonemen.
