Keith Olbermann, who along with most of the MSNBC stable of commentators, has railed against the Bush administration's treatment of detainees as provided by memos released by the Obama administration.
However, beyond his offer to pay Hannity for undergoing waterboarding, why doesn't Olbermann - as well as Rachel Maddow, Chris Matthews, etc. take in the released detainees into their homes, paying for their therapy, get them jobs, etc..Olbermann has offered a $1,000 a second for this charitable event for the troops - as noted in the clip below.
Indicentally, why aren't these folks railing against the Obama administration bombings in Pakistan where innocent civilians have been killed - even though we aren't at war with Pakistan. Why also aren't they railiing against the people enslaved in various parts of the world, the situation in Darfur, the excesses of Robert Mugabe, Kim Jong Il, etc. But that wouldn't garner ratings, might be apolitical and demand some leg work on the network's part.
