The "Ingraham Angle" with talk radio host Laura Ingraham on "The O'Reilly Factor" focused on President Obama's April 29th press conference and immigration.
Ingraham noted that she perked up a bit when Obama referred to abortion as a moral, ethical issue, but then equivocated when speaking about other aspects of the issue such as choice. She said he was originally all in for the FOCA or Freedom of Choice Act, but seems to be walking this back - this, it would seem, in light of the blow back he's received upon being invited as a speaker at the Universrity of Notre Dame's commencement.
Both Ingraham and O'Reilly commented on the fawning, gaping behavior of the White House press corps who asked few probing questions - and O'Reilly noted that the ratings for these conferences have plunged as the public's interest is waning.
O'Reilly asked Ingraham about her position on immigration and she firmly stated that until the borders are secured, nothing else should be put on the table vis-a-vis citizenship and other provisions for illegal aliens. She stated that the Obama administration is even more lax than the Bush administration in border enforcement and the Obama administration's hands off approach on the border issue, even as narco-war violence ravages the border and the potential for the swine flu to pass to the US due to lax border enforcement is a clear sign that the Democrats and Obama are banking on the votes of illegals to keep them in power.
Ingraham also quipped that she's waiting for Obama to blame America for the swine flu - as he has blamed the US for the Mexican narco-wars and myriad other world problems.
