Laura Ingraham hosted Ed Whelan, president of the Ethics and Public Policy Center, on how Harold Koh may represent the end of America's legal sovereignty.
Whalen said that Harold Koh wants to import international norms for US government and is Obama's worst nominee thus far. He believes in "judicial transnationalism" which promotes the world community's views that could override our legal systems - which we as citizens didn't vote for. Whalen said that there isn't really a world community as there are countries that are hostile to our interests - and that the left is selective in which world justice norms they want to import.
Whalen said that it seems that the left doesn't like what we stand for. There are also some questions about what Koh means as far as applying Sharia law in the US.
