Hot Air reports on the latest percussion instrument in the Fairness Doctrine drumbeat - namely President Obama's senior adviser David Axelrod who appeared with Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday. He joins former President Bill Clinton, Senators Tom Harkin, Dianne Feinstein among others who have favored a return of the First Amendment denying doctrine in which the governmnet decides what is fair and what the ordinary folks should hear.
Ironically, Obama hasn't supported so robustly a crackdown on executive pay for those getting government bailouts - because a number of them are his big donors.
WALLACE: Will you rule out reimposing the Fairness Doctrine?
AXELROD: I’m going to leave that issue to Julius Genachowski, our new head of the FCC, to, and the president, to discuss. So I don’t have an answer for you now.
