"Obama warns of dire consequences without stimulus" from AP reports on President-elect Barack Obama's speech at George Mason University where he had the temerity to come to those who have been victimized by a number of his colleagues, Wall Street, etc. - to ask them to pay for the resurrection of the economy. Why isn't Obama going to Robert Rubin of Citigroup, Timothy Geithner who was involved in theTARP that has no accountability, as well as all of the Congress who were responsible for the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac debacle - as well as allowing big donors to skate and incompetent management to keep their compensation.
Obama repeated oft heard nostrums - infrastructure, green tech, etc. - and called for no finger pointing - which means no accountability. We need finger pointing and the criminals to pony up first before the American people are bled even more.
