    Jake Tapper With Laura Ingraham

Laura Ingraham hosted Jake Tapper of ABC News.

Tapper said that Bush's strong defense of his record during his last press conference were noteworthy, especially on Katrina, the economy, and counterterrorism.  He said there was a gamut of emotions expressed.  He said some correspondents felt Bush should have called on Helen Thomas.  There was a bit of wistfulness and people were respectful.  He said the place wasn't full, with about a dozen empty seats.

Tapper spoke about companies trying to cash in on Obama and capitalize on his success as well as media organizations.  He said that Bush in his view has been helpful to Obama and has continued by okaying the rest of the TARP funds to be released.  Tapper said that the language in the TARP was very weak on executive compensation.

Tapper said he thinks there will be some tough questions for Hillary Clinton on her husband's foundation funding over conflicts of interest.
