Laura Ingraham hosted Jonah Goldberg, editor at large of National Review Online, on Obama's massive "stimulus" bill and the latest happenings in the Senate.
Goldberg and Ingraham noted that if the Bill Richardson fiasco had happened to a Republican administration, there would have been heated criticism and that the reality is that the Obama background is hardly squeaky clean - and Obama has wasted no time to throw Richardson under the bus while the media is in a frenzy over the Obama children start Sidwell Friends School.
Goldberg said that some of the tax cuts being proposed by Obama are better than those he brought up over the campaign, but some of them are rather bogus and could lead to loopholes galore. Goldberg said that there are opportunities for the Republicans in all of this.
Goldberg said that the GOP would be foolish to run in to sidle up to Obama with his scare rhetoric that rivals all of those pronouncements by George Bush that were deemed fearmongering.
