Reverend Rick Warren is getting flack from both the left and the right over being picked to give the invocation at Barack Obama's inauguration.
From the Brody Files at the Christian Broadcasting Network, David Brody reports that he is getting spammed with angry communications from pro-lifers.
The Brody File has been flooded with emails and most of them absolutely rip Pastor Warren for doing this. Below is but a very small sampling. I can’t reprint all of them but let me just say that pro-lifers are NOT happy with Warren at all.
Meanwhile, at the other end of the spectrum, the gay rights crowd is furious over yet another perceived lurch to the center by Barack Obama, according to Politico:
The rapid, angry reaction from a range of gay activists comes as the gay rights movement looks for an opportunity to flex its political muscle. Last summer gay groups complained, but were rebuffed by Obama, when an “ex-gay” singer led Obama’s rallies in South Carolina. And many were shocked last month when voters approved the California ban.
