Laura Ingraham hosted Byron York of National Review, on the Republican Governors Association eting and Sarah Palin's future.
York said, from the Republican Governors' Association convention, said Sarah Palin is the star of the show where she delivered a well received speech. He said there are a half dozen other governors there who could be the next presidential candidate such as Bobby Jindal, Tim Pawlenty, etc.. He said there is a sense that the GOP didn't deserve to win this election. He said there is a debate between returning to core values and reform. He said Jindal and Pawlenty were well received. Ingraham noted that the social and fiscal conservatives have done well in elections. Representative Mike Pence was the one member of Congress was invited to the convention. York who had been on a National Review cruise said that those on the trip wanted a purge of the GOP leadership.
York said that the GOP is most conerned right now about the 2009 governors' races and the 2010 Congressional races.
