    William Russell With Laura Ingraham

    Laura Ingraham hosted

William Russell, candidate for Pa.'s 12th Congressional District, on his push to end the nightmarish reign of Rep. John Murtha.

Russell said he is even with Murtha in the latest polls.  He said that he is getting lots of support due to his grassroots campaign.  He said he is shocked by even Democrats who are supporting him and want a change.  Ingraham noted Murtha's gaffes on the Marines at Haditha and his snobbish remarks about the people in western Pennsylvania.  He said his area is very conservative, despite being Democratic - being pro-life and pro-gun.  He said the district hasn't gotten a lot to show for his earmarks and has blocked the development of the coal industry which is vital to the area.

Rusell was in the Army for 28 years and it helped him with perseverance.  He went to West Point and pursued advanced degrees.
