Democrat Fannie Mae Honchos Gorelick & Mudd Get Sweetheart Loans

"Countrywide Made Home Loans to Gorelick, Mudd" from the Wall Street Journal reports that Fannie Mae big shots Jamie Gorelick and Daniel Mudd got big loans from Countrywide Financial Corp. - which is now in big trouble in the subprime mortgage mess. Gorelick, when vice-chairperson of Fannie Mae, got a $960,000 mortgage from pal Angelo Mozilo, head of Countrywide. Mudd received special consideration for several multi-million dollar refinancings.
