Supreme Court Rejects Appeal By Vicious Mexican Murderer

Court denies Medellin's request for stay of execution from the Houston Chronicle reports that Jose Medellin, the illegal alien who brutally raped and murdered two young Texas girls and was scheduled to die at August 5th at six o'clock, was denied a last minute appeal from the US Supreme Court - and is scheduled to be executed at midnight.

The case drew international attention due to the fact that Medellin claimed he didn't get a chance to talk with the Mexican consulate.

Obviously he got a lot more chances than his victims did - which he didn't deserve.

Medellin is one of gang members condemned for the June 1993 gang rape and murder of Jennifer Ertman, 14, and Elizabeth Pena, 16, in T.C. Jester Park on Houston's northwest side.

The girls were raped and strangled with a belt and shoelace after they stumbled into a drunken gang initiation rite while cutting through the park to get home before their curfew.
