"Johnson resigns from Obama's Veep vetting team" from AP reports that Jim Johnson, former FAnnie Mae honcho who came under fire from the GOP and others for favorable treatment from Countrywide chief Angelo Mozelo, stepped down from Team Obama's vice-presidential search team. Some saw this is a smart clean break and others as a sign of wimpiness from Team Obama.
The next question is: What about Eric Holder who as Clinton's deputy AG was instrumental in arranging the pardon of rogue financier Marc Rich - a major blemish on Clinton's legacy - as his ex-wife Denise Rich was a big Clinton donor - it would seem he is one of those shady insiders that Obama keeps running against.
